Our network team has isolated the issue and identified the cause as the earlier fault with a core router at our Byfleet facility. The router passed health checks automatically and re-joined the network, causing disruption as to some of our inbound network traffic while routing path changes were propagated to other peers on the internet.
Our team have manually reviewed the routers event logs and will continue monitoring system health closely.
Network operations have been restored, and services should be accessible as usual.
